K'Kruhk is a Whiphid Jedi Master from the ice world Toola, created for Dark Horse's Star Wars: Jedi Council — Acts of War #1 (2000). Whiphids are enormous tusked carnivores, and the comics leaned into the contrast: a two-metre predator in Jedi robes and a wide-brimmed hat, written as one of the calmest characters on the page.

His distinction is longevity. He survives the Battle of Geonosis, the Clone Wars, Order 66 and the Purge, and Dark Horse kept using him for a decade across Republic, Dark Times and eventually Legacy — where he turns up roughly 150 years after the films as one of the last living links to the old Order, helping to hold together whatever the Jedi have become.

Whiphid lifespans make that plausible rather than a cheat, and it gives the Legends continuity something it otherwise lacks: a single continuous witness from the late Republic to the age of Cade Skywalker. If you want one character who has personally seen the whole shape of the Jedi Order's collapse and its long, partial recoveries, he is it.

All of it is Legends, and all of it is comics. K'Kruhk has never appeared in a film, a television series or a novel — a reminder that Dark Horse spent twenty years building a Jedi Order the screen has never seen.
