Lula Talisola is a human Jedi Padawan from Naboo, born around 246 BBY, trained aboard the academic cruiser Star Hopper under Yoda, Torban Buck and Kantam Sy. She was revealed at the initiative's announcement in February 2020 and debuted in the first issue of Daniel José Older's IDW comic in February 2021.
Her defining relationship is with Zeen Mrala, a Force-sensitive Mikkian raised to believe using the Force is forbidden. The comic follows them from a first meeting during a Nihil raid on Trymant IV to a marriage — Lula Mrala-Talisola is the name she carries afterwards. Star Wars has not published many long-form romances that end in a wedding; this one did, in an all-ages comic, and largely without fanfare.
