Mok Shaiz is the Ithorian mayor of Mos Espa in The Book of Boba Fett, voiced by the series' director Robert Rodriguez. He receives Boba Fett with elaborate civility, demands tribute from him as a matter of municipal procedure, and is secretly working for the Pyke Syndicate throughout.
He is the show's one properly political figure: not a crime lord, not a hunter, but an office-holder who has worked out that the spice trade is the only reliable revenue in the district. Fennec Shand executes him once the Pykes are beaten.
