Saesee Tiin is an Iktotchi Jedi Master, born on Iktotch — the moon of the gas giant Iktotchon — and a member of the High Council through the prequel trilogy. The horns and the severe face are species traits; the Iktotchi are precognitive, which the fiction generally treats as making him taciturn rather than mystical.
He is written throughout as the Order's best starfighter pilot, commands in the Clone Wars, and dies alongside Kit Fisto and Agen Kolar in Palpatine's office during the attempted arrest. Like most of the alien Council seats, he exists mainly in the animated series, games and reference books rather than in prose.
