Tasha Ryo is a Force-sensitive Twi'lek of Clan Ryo, daughter of Baron Volnos Ryo of Shikaakwa and of Kora Ryo, Temple Master and archmaster of Kaleth, the Je'daii Great Temple of Knowledge. She trained on Tython and reached the rank of Journeyer, preferring to defend herself with the Force rather than with any weapon.
She is killed on Tython in 25,792 BBY, during the upheaval that follows the arrival of Xesh. The Ryo clan — a baron, a temple master, a daughter in the Order and an uncle, Hawk Ryo, out on the Rim — is the series' way of showing that the Je'daii were embedded in a settled society rather than standing apart from one.
