Terrinald Screed is a human Imperial naval officer with a cybernetic eye implant replacing the one he lost during the Clone Wars. He is named in current canon in James Luceno's Tarkin (Del Rey, 2014). He began in the Republic's Judicial Department during the Separatist Crisis, where he supported the legislation that created the clone army, and by 14 BBY he had reached Vice Admiral in the Empire's Naval Intelligence Agency.
He worked alongside Vice Admiral Dodd Rancit without being told that Rancit was collaborating with rebels. As Admiral he made his name against the Iska pirates, first at Fanha and then decisively at Tosste — a victory that became required study at the Imperial Academies. He was killed by pirates near the Iktari Circle some time before the Liberation of Kashyyyk.
