Trilla Suduri, designated the Second Sister, is a human Inquisitor and the principal antagonist of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (Respawn Entertainment, 2019). She was a Jedi Padawan before the purge, apprenticed to Cere Junda.
The betrayal at the centre
The game's plot turns on a single fact withheld until late: Trilla was captured because her own master, under interrogation, gave up her location. Cere broke, briefly touched the dark side, and has spent the years since unable to say so aloud. Trilla was then broken in turn and made into an Inquisitor. It is the best-constructed piece of writing in either Jedi game.
Why it lands
Because the game gives you both halves. You play alongside the master carrying the guilt and you fight the apprentice carrying the consequence, and neither of them is wrong about the other. The Inquisitorius is usually written as a set of interchangeable enforcers; Trilla is the entry that explains what the programme costs to produce one.
Fortress Inquisitorius
Her death is delivered by Darth Vader, on Nur, moments after she and Cere reach something like an understanding — a piece of staging that exists to make plain how little the Empire cares about the interior lives of the people it manufactures.
Canon status
Canon. The Inquisitorius as an organisation dates to Star Wars Rebels (2014); Trilla is a 2019 creation for the game.
