Tott Doneeta is a Twi'lek from Ryloth, enslaved young and found by Arca Jeth, who trained him at the Arkanian praxeum alongside Ulic and Cay Qel-Droma. His particular gift is an innate ability to understand and communicate with animals, which is what makes him useful on Onderon in 4000 BBY, where the war is between a walled city and the people who ride its wildlife.
He is also a piece of design history. Artist Chris Gossett, given unusual latitude to invent Jedi four thousand years before the films, drew Doneeta with a curved-hilt lightsaber — the first in Star Wars, years before Count Dooku's.
