Yana Ro is an Evereni, born around 402 BBY, and the cousin of Marda Ro. Their grandparents and Yana's sire were killed in an attack when both were small, and their mothers fled with them to Dalna, where the family joined the Path of the Open Hand.
Where Marda believes, Yana does not. She joins the Children of the Open Hand, the group that "liberates" Force artefacts, plans to leave with her girlfriend Kor Plouth, and spends Path of Deceit and Path of Vengeance in opposition to a cousin who is becoming something monstrous. Two Evereni girls raised identically, one of whom founds the Nihil, is the cleanest character argument Phase II makes.
