Bant Eerin is a Mon Calamari Jedi and Obi-Wan Kenobi's closest friend among the Temple initiates, introduced in Jedi Apprentice: The Rising Force (Scholastic, 1999), the Dave Wolverton novel that opens the Legends series. She trains as a healer, becomes Tahl's padawan, and functions throughout as Obi-Wan's link to the ordinary Temple childhood he keeps being pulled away from.
She is unusual among the Jedi Apprentice supporting cast in having crossed continuities: a Bant Eerin appears in current canon in the young-readers title Choose Your Destiny: An Obi-Wan & Anakin Adventure. The Legends biography did not come with her — just the name, the species and the friendship.
