Imri Cantaros is a human Jedi Padawan born around 246 BBY, who debuted simultaneously in Charles Soule's Light of the Jedi and Justina Ireland's A Test of Courage in January 2021. His master, Douglas Sunvale, is killed when the Nihil sabotage the transport Steady Wing; Cantaros escapes with Avon Starros and is subsequently taken as the apprentice of Vernestra Rwoh, who is roughly his own age.
His parentage caused the initiative's best-documented continuity wobble: chapter four of A Test of Courage gives his homeworld as Genetia and chapter eighteen gives it as Hynestia. Ireland's explanation — that his parents came from different planets — was later folded into Out of the Shadows, which is a tidy example of how a large multi-author project patches itself in public.
