Jek Tono Porkins is a human male Rebel Alliance pilot, Red Six at the Battle of Yavin, played by William Hootkins in A New Hope (1977). He meets Biggs Darklighter at General Dodonna’s briefing and is killed early in the attack on the Death Star’s surface.
In Star Wars Legends he is a trader and pilot from Bestine IV who, with the rest of the Bestines, was forced off his homeworld when the Empire selected it as the site of a new military base — a small, characteristic piece of Expanded Universe worldbuilding that turns a background casualty into a displaced person with a reason to be there.
