Kevmo Zink is a Pantoran Jedi Padawan, apprenticed to Zallah Macri around 384 BBY. Sent to Dalna to investigate a stolen Force artefact, he meets Marda Ro of the Path of the Open Hand and the two fall for each other across an unbridgeable theological gap: he uses the Force, and her religion holds that using it is violence.
He dies in her arms, turned slowly to stone by the Leveler. She keeps his lightsaber, blames the Jedi rather than her own leadership, and takes the first step towards founding the Nihil. Zink was originally written as a Kiffar and revised into a Pantoran after Cavan Scott created the Kiffar Jedi Vildar Mac for the Marvel comics — the tattoos survived the rewrite.
