Valco Pandion is a human Imperial moff who awarded himself the title of Grand Moff after the Battle of Endor, introduced in Chuck Wendig's Aftermath (Del Rey, 2015). He commanded a communications station on Malastare and fled it when the New Republic attacked, leaving his troops behind.
At the secret Imperial summit on Akiva he argued for immediate aggressive war against the New Republic, which put him in constant conflict with Admiral Rae Sloane. When the summit collapsed he tried to seize control of Sloane's shuttle in flight; she tipped the control stick, put him on the floor, shot him and ejected him, and he died as the shuttle came apart around him in roughly 4 ABY.
