Classic Star Wars

Dark Horse recolours, re-edits and reprints the Archie Goodwin and Al Williamson daily newspaper strip as a twenty-issue comic, with new panels and new pages by Williamson to make the dailies read as continuous stories.

Twenty issues from August 1992 to June 1994. The strips ran in newspapers between 1981 and 1984; Williamson drew new bridging art and covers for the comic-book presentation, and the run was collected in three trade paperbacks.
