Loden Greatstorm is a Twi'lek Jedi Master stationed at the Elphrona outpost, master of the Padawan Bell Zettifar, and by reputation one of the best instructors in the High Republic Order. He wields a yellow lightsaber and was designed by artist Elisa Serio, whose concept art appeared on StarWars.com before the books arrived.
He is captured by the Nihil and dies in 231 BBY on Grizal, held and broken over months by Marchion Ro in the era's most explicit statement of intent: the Nihil do not fight Jedi so much as take them apart. Greatstorm later returned in animation, in the Disney+ series Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures, voiced by Matthew Yang King.
