Pash Cracken is a human male starfighter pilot, born on the planet Contruum around 20 BBY, and the son of the Alliance spymaster Airen Cracken. He was taught morality and starfighter combat by his father and followed him into the Rebel Alliance as a teenager.
What happened next is the most striking fact in his file. Airen enrolled his own son at the Empire’s Vensenor Flight Academy under a false identity, to sharpen skills the Rebellion could not teach him. Pash graduated, and then led an entire wing of TIE fighter pilots in defecting to the Alliance — an operation that is simultaneously a training programme, an intelligence coup and, on any reasonable reading, a father using his child as an asset.
He goes on to command squadrons under the New Republic and appears through the Bantam-era X-Wing material alongside Rogue Squadron. The novels treat him as one of the better young officers of his generation and never quite let the reader forget how he got that good.
Pash is Star Wars Legends. His first printed appearance is given here in general terms rather than pinned to a specific volume, because that detail could not be confirmed for this entry.
