Halla Ettyk is a human female advocate from Alderaan and the prosecutor at the trial of Tycho Celchu in 7 ABY, charged with treason against the New Republic and the murder of Corran Horn. She is assisted by the former CorSec investigator Iella Wessiri and opposed by the Twi’lek pilot-attorney Nawara Ven.
Her presence is what gives the courtroom sequence its edge. Both advocate and accused are survivors of Alderaan, and the case turns on whether one of them sold out to the regime that killed it.
