This isn't a new practice area for us.

Bluefrog started as a custom software company. Payments, CRM, automation, mobile platforms and management infrastructure — long before AI was the headline. That engineering history is why our AI work behaves like software instead of like a demo.

Workflow Engines

Process, expressed as software.

Most operational pain is not a missing feature. It is a process that exists only in someone's head, executed inconsistently, and reconstructed after the fact from spreadsheets. A workflow engine turns that process into states, rules and timers that the system enforces — and then reports on honestly.

Once the workflow is real, AI has something to work with. It can classify an incoming record, extract the fields a human would have typed, summarize a long thread for the next person in the queue, evaluate the interaction against a rubric you defined, and flag the items that need a manager rather than a reminder.

That is the difference between AI as a feature and AI as part of the operation. Our custom AI development work almost always sits inside software like this.
