Home Services Marketing

Marketing is one input into the system. Revenue is the output.

Google paid media, Local Services Ads, local SEO, Google Business Profile, websites, content and conversion tracking — run by engineers and connected to the calls, bookings, jobs and revenue that decide whether any of it worked.

The Measurement Gap

Most home services marketing stops measuring at the lead.

Which is exactly where the interesting part of the business begins.

An ad platform can tell you it produced a click and, if tracking is configured well, a phone call. That is the end of its knowledge. It does not know whether the caller was a real service opportunity or a wrong number, whether the CSR booked the appointment, whether the truck was dispatched, whether the technician sold the job, or what the job was worth.

So the standard agency report optimizes toward the only thing it can see: volume and cost per lead. Campaigns get judged on cheap leads. Cheap leads are not the same as profitable jobs. Two campaigns can produce identical cost per lead and produce completely different businesses on the other side of the phone.

Bluefrog runs the marketing, but we run it inside a measurement system. Every click, call, form and chat is carried forward through call intelligence, into the CRM or field service system, through booking and dispatch, to the completed job and the dollars it produced — then back into the decision about where the next dollar of media spend goes.

What Reporting Looks Like

Not "we got you 412 leads."

A marketing report should be able to survive the question every owner asks: what did it turn into?

Why It Matters

The decisions change when the data changes.

When lead-level data is joined to operational data, the conversation with the owner stops being about impressions. It becomes: this service line converts to booked work at a materially higher rate than that one; this campaign produces volume but the calls are not service opportunities; this city produces jobs with a different average value than the market next to it; these qualified calls came in and were never booked.

That last one is usually the largest number in the building. Missed and mishandled opportunity is a marketing problem that no amount of additional media spend solves — and it is invisible unless something is listening to the calls and comparing them to what your team is supposed to do on them. That is rubric evaluation: your standards, AI-powered evaluation, applied consistently instead of to the four calls a manager had time to review.

We are an AI systems integrator that also runs marketing — not a marketing agency that bought an AI tool. The same engineering group builds the integrations, the tracking, the dashboards and the campaigns, which is why the numbers reconcile.

How Engagements Start

Connect first. Then optimize.

Optimizing media against incomplete data just gets you to the wrong answer faster.

1

Audit the plumbing

Call tracking, form capture, LSA data, GBP, analytics, CRM fields and the ad accounts — what exists, what is broken, what never connected.

2

Build the joins

Integrations into ServiceTitan or your CRM and the Google and Meta APIs, so a lead can be followed to a completed job.

3

Turn on intelligence

Transcription, intent, qualification, booking detection and rubric evaluation running on every conversation.

4

Run the media

Campaigns managed against booked jobs and revenue, with budget moved on evidence instead of platform defaults.
