Serious engineering. Unserious subject matter.
This is where Bluefrog experiments in public. Every project below is a real, live site we built to push the limits of what AI-assisted engineering can do — full applications, simulations, communities and generated worlds. We build them to know exactly what is capable before a client ever asks. And because it's fun.
We push limits here so we don't guess on your project.
Reading about what AI can build is not the same as building it. Each experiment below started as a question — can a browser be a recording studio? Can physics be a toy? Can one build script generate an entire publishing operation? — and became a finished, public site. The techniques we prove here (real-time audio, client-side simulation, community platforms, procedural generation at scale) are the same ones we later ship in client software. The playground is how we know the answer before you ask the question.
6oal Studio
A free, no-login music studio that runs entirely in your browser. Six elements — Beat, Bass, Melody, Harmony, Sound and Mix — take you from first beat to final mix, and you can export the finished track. No gear. No limits. Just 6oal.
The question we were testing: can the browser replace a digital audio workstation? Real-time audio synthesis, sequencing, effects chains and mixdown — all running client-side with nothing to install.
- Lay down drum patterns, basslines, melodies and chords in a full sequencer
- Shape your sound with samples and effects, then mix and export the track
- Zero signup — open the studio and start making music in seconds
f19.org — The STEM Playground
Science you can grab with your hands. Free STEM games for kids, students, teachers and anyone who never stopped being curious. Nothing on the site is a video — every planet, bead and pendulum is being solved by real equations in your browser, right now. Drag it, break it, crank gravity to zero and see what happens.
The question we were testing: can real physics — not canned animations — run smoothly in a browser and still feel like a toy? The equations are printed on every page.
- Orbital Sandbox — fling planets around a star and crash worlds together
- Chaos Pendulum — watch a millionth of a degree turn into total disagreement
- Bean Machine & Harmonograph — probability and wave math you can touch
- A brand-new math puzzle every day — same puzzle worldwide, resets at midnight
Mr. Stach
The internet's home for legendary mustaches. Stash. Share. Dominate. Mr. Stach celebrates mustache greatness through history, pop culture, news and you — from Tom Selleck's chevron to your uncle's walrus. Upload your own stach, collect votes, and earn your official Mr. Stach Card.
The question we were testing: how fast can we stand up a full community platform — profiles, uploads, voting, monthly contests, leaderboards, countdown timers and a shop — around an idea that exists purely for the joy of it?
- A Hall of Fame of celebrity and movie-character mustaches, profiled and ranked
- Stach Battles and the Stach of the Month contest — most votes wins stach gear
- Upload your stach, vote on others, and try on or build a stach of your own
May the Force Be With You
A fan reading log of the entire Star Wars shelf — canon and Legends — with book reviews, a comics database, character dossiers, era-by-era history and reading-order guides. Hundreds of pages, and every piece of cover art, character portrait and era banner is original, procedurally generated SVG. No stock images. No external assets. Not one.
The question we were testing: how far can a fully generated static site go? One build script turns structured data into 600+ pages and 250+ deterministic SVG artworks — with search, RSS, sitemaps and cross-linking — in under a second, and the whole thing works with JavaScript switched off.
- 124-book library with honest ratings, plus a comics database labelled canon vs. Legends
- Character encyclopedia with generated portrait plates — geometric, never a likeness
- Client-side search, reading-order routes and a live starfield, all self-contained
FrogZoom Golf
Grip it. Rip it. Ribbit. A full arcade golf game running in a browser tab — nine holes at FrogZoom National, played by a customizable frog in a top hat. No download, no account, no app store. Your progress saves on the device.
The question we were testing: how much real-time 3D can you put in a web page before it stops being fun? Physics-driven ball flight, wind, club selection and a hand-built low-poly course — all rendered live in WebGL at playable frame rates.
- Nine named holes with their own par, yardage and personality — Lily Landing's pond "keeps what it catches"
- Pick your club, read the wind, aim your line and swing — arcade feel, real ball physics
- Build My Golfer, a Daily challenge, Trophy Pond, Frog Stats and More Worlds to unlock
More experiments are already on the bench.
The playground grows whenever a "what if" is interesting enough to build. If one of these experiments makes you wonder what the same engineering could do pointed at your business, that conversation is the whole point.
AI is easy to access. Making it useful is hard.
